The Challenge
Before GemStudio, Classique Creations' product photography was limited to small-scale model shoots, shot on a DSLR with whatever props and models Lorraine could pull together in the office or conference room.
"Very small scale," Lorraine said. "Just what I was able to do with my camera and anybody that could model for me."
Anything more polished came at a steep cost. A true editorial shoot would run into the hundreds or thousands of dollars, and coordinating talent, pieces, a photographer, and retouching could take more than a month on its own, before a single image was finalized.
GemStudio's Role
Using GemStudio, Lorraine produced a full lookbook debuting Classique Creations' new designs for their show, shooting with GemLightbox and her own camera phone.
"The GemStudio basically did most of the legwork in terms of just getting this to be really, really refined, really editorial," she said.
With a photography background of her own, Lorraine brought some light retouching to the final images, but the heavy lifting was already done. What stood out most was how the platform handled the material itself:
"The way that the GemStudio is able to really bring out the metal color and really bring out the shine of the diamonds and things like that. I mean, it really sets... the gem studio just set apart from other rendering AI renderings."
The response from customers confirmed it. "Our customers have been over the moon with it, and it's been really impressive."
