The Challenge

Marcus has been running a body piercing studio in Scotland for ten years. As Metalworx Body Jewellery and Piercings moves into online sales — gold, titanium, and fine body jewellery — product photography has become a critical part of the business.

The existing process was anything but fast. A DSLR, a basic lightbox, manual shooting, then hours in Photoshop before anything was ready to go online.

"Normally it takes us anywhere between a whole day and a whole week to create a batch of 10 to 100 photos. Quite a time-consuming process — that's why I got interested in your kit."

For small, intricate pieces like body jewellery, getting clean, detailed shots consistently made the process even harder to scale.

GemLightbox's Role

What drew Marcus to GemLightbox was the promise of full automation — a single click replacing an entire editing workflow. Photos taken, AI enhancement applied, ready to publish. No Photoshop. No manual back-and-forth.

"It's the fully automated aspect of it — the one-click idea. You just have all the photos taken in one, AI goes in there, soups up the photo, makes it look good in one shot. Then we can just push it online."

The 15-second capture — delivering four photos and a video in one session — was the specific feature that sealed it.

"15 seconds, one video and four photos — exactly. 100%. If we can just start getting photos done immediately, it'll streamline everything a lot."

Marcus is a first-time buyer evaluating GemLightbox for his studio's online expansion — and the case for it was straightforward from the moment he saw it.

The Results

• A photography process that previously took up to a week now expected to complete in seconds per batch

• Four photos and a video generated in a single 15-second capture

• Manual Photoshop editing workflow replaced by one-click AI enhancement

• Online sales channel now supported by a scalable photography solution

• A practical fit for small, intricate body jewellery pieces

For a studio moving from in-person piercing to online retail, GemLightbox offers something simple but powerful — the ability to photograph product fast, and get it in front of customers without the wait.

The Challenge

For Shoaib and the team at Shaka Jewelers, photography used to be frustrating — and inconsistent.

“It was a nightmare.”

They relied on DSLRs and traditional lighting setups, but shadowless photography simply wasn’t achievable. The pieces never looked the way they did in real life.

• Harsh shadows

• Inconsistent lighting

• No true detail capture

• Jewelry that didn’t reflect its real beauty

As a result, promoting their pieces properly was difficult. No matter how exceptional the jewelry was, the photography didn’t do it justice.

And in today’s market, if you can’t showcase the piece properly, you can’t maximize its impact.

GemLightbox’s Role

Everything shifted when they introduced GemLightbox into their workflow.

“We would never be able to promote our jewelry the way we wanted to until we came across the Gem Lightbox.”

For a long-time customer like Shoaib, it wasn’t just a one-time purchase. They’ve upgraded consistently as new models were released — integrating it deeper into their business over time.

Now, whenever they create or acquire a beautiful new piece, photographing it immediately becomes part of the process.

“Every time you have a nice piece, you want to photograph it to maximize the value of the piece.”

The difference wasn’t just technical — it was strategic.

On top of that, the after-sales support stood out just as strongly as the product itself.

“The after-sales service is on another level.”

For Shoaib, the experience extended beyond the machine — it included reliability, responsiveness, and ongoing support.

The Results

With GemLightbox, Shaka Jewelers gained:

• True shadowless photography

• Accurate representation of each piece

• Faster promotion cycles

• Confidence in marketing their collections

• Reliable long-term support

Photography is no longer a barrier — it’s now an advantage.

If he had to describe GemLightbox in two words? “Game changer.”

The Challenge

Gemma Fine Jewelry specializes in high-end fine jewelry, large diamonds, and rare gemstones.

Capturing diamonds accurately in digital media presents major hurdles across the jewelry industry. While stones display rich fire, luster, and vibrant color in person, standard video and camera equipment often distort the true color and dull the natural brilliance.

"When you see the diamond in person, you see a lot of fire, a lot of luster. You see the color properly, but then in many cases when you try to take a nice video of the product, color sometimes is off. The luster is not as you see it in real life."

GemLightbox Max’s Role

Discovering GemLightbox Max solved these imaging issues by offering a pre-calibrated lighting environment and camera system.

"This is where I found a gembox which pretty much saved our life. It's a perfect product for jewelry products shooting, we're using it for our website for social media purposes."

The turn-key setup automates color balance and lighting settings, allowing the team to generate true-to-life videos and photos without complex camera adjustments.

"It's very easy to use, comes with a camera as well. Pretty much does everything. All the colors, everything is already set. There is nothing much you should look and then the outcome is just you see it as it looks like in real life."

The Results

• Eliminates color distortion and captures true diamond fire and luster.
• Streamlines photo and video workflows for website cataloging and social media.
• Saves significant setup time with pre-configured camera and lighting settings.
• Provides high-end visual representations that match in-person viewings.

GemLightbox Max provides Gemma Fine Jewelry with an effortless imaging solution that accurately reflects the beauty and quality of their high-end inventory

The Challenge

For this Mexico-based jewelry business, photography has been a steady journey of improvement. They began by photographing pieces on their phones, then moved to a professional camera, followed by a professional lightbox. Each step helped, but it still wasn’t enough to support where the business is headed next.

Selling jewelry in Mexico relies heavily on strong catalogs and social media. The team explained that their marketing is driven by catalogs shown directly to clients, as well as sales coming from Instagram and jewelry shared digitally with customers.

Because of this, image quality matters.

“We sell a lot from Instagram and from showing catalogs to our clients,” she shared. “That’s why it’s important for us to have a really good catalog.”

Despite using professional cameras and specialty boxes, photography remained difficult. The results weren’t consistent, and the setup wasn’t delivering the quality needed to confidently expand their catalog.

GemLightbox’s Role

While attending the show, the team stopped by the GemLightbox booth as part of their search for a better solution.

They shared that the systems they had tried before simply hadn’t worked the way they needed. What stood out this time was the opportunity to upgrade both the camera and the box together, with a focus on clarity, consistency, and catalog-ready results.

“We’ve been trying to photograph with professional cameras and special boxes, but they haven’t really worked,” she explained. “That’s why we’re looking to expand our catalog with better quality.”

The interest in GemLightbox came from a desire to take the next step. Not starting from scratch, but building on everything they have already invested in.

The Results

For the team, GemLightbox represents a move toward growth, not experimentation.

• A clearer path to building a high-quality, client-ready catalog

• Photography that supports Instagram and digital selling

• A solution aligned with expanding product lines in gold and silver

• Confidence in taking the business to its next stage

“We’re very proud of what we’ve done so far,” she said. “We started with phones, then a professional camera, then a professional box. Now we want to expand more.”

GemLightbox fits into that next chapter. A step forward in presenting jewelry clearly, consistently, and confidently to clients in Mexico and beyond.

The Challenge

Based in Minnesota, Black Forest LTD is a specialized jewelry manufacturer focused entirely on custom corporate recognition items, scholastic awards, and championship rings.

Because every single item they produce is custom made rather than a stock piece, creating strong brand awareness requires photographing every unique design.

In the past, setting up individual photography sessions for every custom run was extremely time-consuming and inefficient for their production team.

"Everything we do is custom, and so just getting that word out there and use case. Absolutely, yeah, so it's a little time consuming, how we are currently doing it..."

GemLightbox Max's Role

During a live demonstration at RJO, the team evaluated GemLightbox Mini as a way to streamline their internal media production.

"When we saw your GemLightbox, we were very excited just to alleviate kind of that process and get crisper images."

The system provides a fast, repeatable desktop setup, allowing them to capture sharp, clear images of scholastic rings and corporate awards right on the manufacturing floor.

The Results

• Streamlined the photography process for custom corporate, scholastic, and championship recognition products.
• Replaced time-consuming camera setups with an efficient desktop workstation.
• Produced crisp, detailed visuals during their RJO trade show evaluation to drive brand awareness.
• Accelerated image asset creation to support new vendor opportunities.

GemLightbox Mini gave Black Forest LTD a fast, seamless way to capture high-quality images of their custom manufactured recognition products

The Challenge

Oak Valley Jewelers initially faced skepticism regarding the investment required for upgraded photography equipment. They considered smaller alternatives, but needed a solution that offered complete capability across all store departments.

Detailed, high-resolution pictures are critical for appraisal work and repair records, making reliable imaging essential for their daily operations.

"I was really skeptical at first because the dollar price, and I wanted a smaller one at first, and then we upgraded to the bigger box because it was so integrated."

GemLightbox Max's Role

Upgrading to the complete unit provided an all-in-one platform preloaded with structured tutorials for staff onboarding. The system integrated into their existing POS workflow, allowing the team to capture precise detail for incoming pieces.

"And I'm so excited about the tutorials that are preloaded into the program and everybody at our store. They're so happy with the quality."

Their repair department now routinely produces dynamic visual records, while the appraisal department relies on crisp images to support detailed documentation.

"We have the edge. So it's integrated with the edge. And our repair department is showing dynamic pictures. And for appraisal work, I mean, appraisal is so important to have a detailed picture."

The Results

• Upgraded to an all-in-one hardware system with software preloaded with staff tutorials.
• Integrated photo capture directly into The Edge POS software.
• Enhanced repair department customer communication through dynamic images.
• Improved appraisal accuracy and client trust using high-resolution visuals.

GemLightbox Max delivered a fully integrated imaging solution that transformed Oak Valley Jewelers' appraisal and repair operations.

The Challenge

For Aria and Dipu from Rosy Blue in Dubai, jewelry design is a family craft. But while their pieces were rich in detail and craftsmanship, photographing them accurately was a continuous challenge.

They handled photography manually, only to spend hours editing afterward.

“It was very difficult,” Aria explained. “We would have to do a lot of editing afterwards to get it looking how it is in person on the photographs, because it sometimes doesn’t translate well.”

Capturing 360 views was even harder.

“Some parts are blurry and some parts are not,” she said.

Like many modern jewelry brands, they needed a consistent, reliable way to show the true beauty of their pieces online — without becoming full-time photographers.

GemLightbox's Role

At the Hong Kong show, everything changed.

“Seeing this machine has revolutionized jewelry photography for me,” Aria shared.

The 360 capture feature was the standout.
“The 360 was really cool,” she said. “It’s going to be really interesting and fun to experiment with different angles.”

The AI description capability also impressed them.
“That takes so much time and effort… it’s great that it can just do that.”

With GemLightbox Pro, they finally had:

• Consistent lighting

• Clear, accurate 360 views

• Faster content creation

• Tools that matched the quality of their brand

“We’re happy with this,” they said. “We’re looking forward to having the product.”

The Results

With GemLightbox Pro, Rosy Blue now has the foundation to produce:

• Accurate, True-to-Life Images. Their pieces finally look the way they do when viewed in person.
• Sharp 360° Product Views. No more blurry segments or mismatched angles.
• Instant AI Descriptions. Removes hours of manual writing and editing.
• A Streamlined Workflow. Photography is no longer a barrier — it’s an asset.

When asked to describe their experience in one word, Aria chose: “Revolutionary.”

GemLightbox Pro gives Rosy Blue a modern, effortless way to showcase their design work — elevating how they present their craft to clients around the world.

The Challenge

Prior to adopting the new photography system, photography at Elyse Fine Jewelers was basic and limited. The team relied on a standard digital camera with minimal lighting, no effects, and inconsistent detail capture.

These early images were primarily used for appraisal documentation rather than customer-facing marketing. Producing high-quality media for sales and digital platforms required a more powerful, easy-to-use solution. "Prior to GemLightbox, our photography is quite rudimentary, shot with a standard digital camera, minimal lighting, no effects, and lacking detail."

GemLightbox Max's Role

Despite being a bench jeweler and designer without a technical photography background, the intuitive operation allowed staff to adapt effortlessly.

"We're excited to purchase the new GemLightbox Max. The additional size, the configurations, the quality of the images from loose gems to finish jewelry has been a home run for us."

"The most surprising thing for the initial demo that resulted in our purchase was the perceived ease of operation. I'm not a tech guy, I'm a bench jeweler, and a designer, and my staff is going to adapt to this like a ductile water."

The Results

• Expanded photo utilization to social media, e-commerce, and direct sales collateral.
• Streamlined clear, detailed image capturing for appraisal documentation.
• Seamless team adoption without technical photography training.
• Versatile photo capturing ranging from loose gemstones to complex finished jewelry pieces.

GemLightbox Max streamlined content creation into a simple, highly effective sales and documentation tool.

The Challenge

Keller's Jewelers is a family-owned and operated retail jewelry business serving its community for over 60 years. Based in Menifee, California, the team manages all aspects of repair and custom service in-house while balancing a very busy daily schedule.

Capturing accurate photography for their inventory presented constant obstacles. Standard camera setups failed to capture true gemstone clarity, correct light balance, and authentic colors.

To solve this, the store relied on phone cameras combined with ChatGPT for color corrections, or utilized a complex Nikon D60 DSLR camera setup. The overall process proved overly complicated, time-consuming, and difficult to manage consistently.

"The biggest one is quality, clarity, color. You cannot get a true color or clarity with just regular photography."

GemLightbox Max’s Role

During a live demonstration at the JCK Show 2026, Keller's Jewelers evaluated the GemLightbox Max. The streamlined design provided immediate simplicity and ease of use, eliminating the need for complicated lenses and lengthy editing routines.

"Simplistic. Very straightforward."

The integrated spinning turntable made a standout impression by capturing complete 360-degree views alongside individual angle shots in a single seamless automated process.

"The spinning turntable and it will do a 360 and each side view at once."

The Results

• Replaced complex DSLR and manual phone camera workflows with a fast, automated solution.
• Captured true-to-life color and gemstone clarity without relying on manual color correction.
• Automated 360-degree video and multi-angle image capture in a single pass.
• Saved valuable operational time for staff managing tight daily repair and store schedules.

GemLightbox Max provided Keller's Jewelers with a fast, straightforward photography solution tailored perfectly for busy retail jewelers.

The Challenge

Before discovering GemLightbox Max at the JCK Show, Illusion Joyas relied on an outdated in-house photography system that produced basic archival images.

To create marketing assets, high-quality social media posts, or polished catalog visuals, they had to hire external professional photographers, incurring significant ongoing costs.

"We do a very archived system, we have a photograph and people and then for studio photos, for nice photos like this one, we have to hire someone."

GemLightbox Max's Role

While walking the show floor at JCK 2026, Max was drawn to the GemLightbox booth by the smoothness and power of the demonstration. Seeing his own watch instantly transformed into cinema-quality media convinced him to invest on the spot.

"Actually, I was walking around the show, and I liked it very much, the easiness or the smoothness of the technology. I think it's a very powerful. Right away, when they explained it to me and I see it on action, we decided to buy it."

The GemLightbox Max's ability to produce agency-grade visuals in seconds without complex training made it an essential addition to their operations.

"It looks like a very produced, a very professional marketing. t was very nice, very professional."

The Results

• Eliminated Agency Fees: Replaced expensive external photography hires with an easy in-house tool.
• Instant Studio Quality: Generated high-end marketing imagery and video on demand.
• Streamlined Operations: Removed complex setup friction with an intuitive, turn-key solution.
• Social Media Ready: Upgraded content quality across all digital platforms to drive growth.

By adopting GemLightbox Max, Illusion Joyas gained complete control over their media creation while taking their product presentation to the next level.

The Challenge

Jabari is a New York-based jewelry professional looking for efficient ways to maintain high-quality product listings.

Previous photo creation relied on phone cameras, which routinely caused blurry details and unwanted shadows on the jewelry pieces.

To get quality results, the alternative required renting studio space or hiring third-party photographers, creating high costs and slow turnaround times for updating website inventory and sending catalogs to clients.

GemLightbox Max’s Role

While walking by a live demonstration, Jabari saw the system in action on a desktop setup. The close-up view made it immediately clear how simple the solution was to operate.

"I noticed that I saw this system sitting on the table and how easy it was to like take photos of your products and I'm like, oh, I need this for my website."

The setup delivered crisp clarity and completely shadow-free lighting. By replacing phone cameras and studio rentals, the entire imaging workflow could now be handled directly on an office desk in just minutes.

"I don't have to hire a photographer. I don't have to rent space. I could do this right in my office, right on my desk."

"The clarity on the GemCam Pro also was so good. Also, I love that there were no shadows."

The Results

• Replaced costly third-party photographers and studio space rentals with an in-office solution.
• Eliminated dark shadows and blurry phone photos to achieve sharp product details.
• Accelerated website listing updates and direct-to-client catalog creation to just minutes.
• Saved substantial operational time while streamlining daily digital workflows.

GemLightbox Max gave Jabari a fast, shadow-free photography system to update web listings and catalogs directly from an office desk

The Challenge

Padis Jewelry is a multi-store retailer based in San Francisco, California, serving customers across five locations for over 50 years.

Years ago, product photography was a constant struggle. Hiring external photographers often led to inconsistent results and improper lighting.

Taking photos internally required substantial time and energy, but the resulting images rarely turned out well. Backgrounds remained unclear, while dust and debris caused constant reshoots.

Because top brands provided high-quality imagery, Padis Jewelry struggled to display their own custom and in-house pieces alongside those brand assets without a noticeable drop in visual quality.

"It was a nightmare. You spend all this time and the pictures were never good. And the background was never clear or all of a sudden there'd be a piece of dirt or dust and you had kept having to reshoot."

GemLightbox Max’s Role

Padis Jewelry adopted GemLightbox solutions early on to take full control of their in-house content creation.

At a recent trade event, the store upgraded to the GemLightbox Max to leverage its advanced AI capabilities and lighting controls. The circular lighting with adjustable warm and cool tones provides precise control over lighting scenarios.

"The circular lighting, you can just adjust the warm and the cool light. That's the game-changer."

The built-in AI components help streamline content creation for store personnel. Staff members can rely on AI-assisted workflows to draft descriptions and product copy quickly, simplifying the entire cataloging process.

"It'll make it so my staff can start with the AI and tweak it. It'll make it a lot easier for them to put in the content."

The Results

• Replaced frustrating, third-party photography hiring with a fast, reliable internal system.
• Produced clean, dust-free images with sharp backgrounds, eliminating time-consuming reshoots.
• Achieved seamless visual consistency between in-house products and major designer brand imagery on their e-commerce store.
• Accelerated website listing production by utilizing AI tools to streamline content drafting.

GemLightbox Max enabled Padis Jewelry to deliver world-class web imagery across all five store locations while saving significant time and labor.

The Challenge

Creating photos and videos for highly complex, custom jewelry pieces required an elaborate studio setup at the factory.

The setup involved multiple specialized cameras, complex lighting rigs, and heavy manual labor. Photographing unique designs individually was time-consuming and required extensive technical photography expertise.

"As of now, we have the whole photography and videography train with different cameras, different lighting. So it's kind of a studio set up at our factory, which is more labor intensive."

GemLightbox Max's Role

Discovering an all-in-one system provided a streamlined solution for capturing high-end custom designs without needing specialized experience.

The integrated AI features offered a compact alternative to labor-intensive factory studio setups. This allowed intricate details like custom pave settings, bezel work, and mosaic backgrounds to be captured accurately and quickly.

"I was interested to look for something where I can shoot with no experience to the photography at my New York office. And that's what we bring me to make my time more worthwhile. And it has AI built in. So all in one stop solution for everything."

The Results

• Replaced complex, labor-intensive camera setups with a single compact unit.
• Enabled high-quality photo and video capture with zero prior photography experience.
• Saved production time when photographing intricate, one-of-a-kind custom jewelry.
• Streamlined content creation directly within the office environment.

GemLightbox Max simplified custom jewelry photography into a fast, effortless, office-ready process.

The Challenge

When opening his retail store a decade ago, Steve Hawkins knew that capturing high-quality jewelry photography would be essential to building a successful brand. Finding equipment that could reliably deliver professional lighting and sharp detail was a major priority from day one.

In the early stages, creating consistent, background-perfect imagery required time and specialized setups that often pulled focus away from daily sales operations and customer service.

GemLightbox's Role

Recognizing the potential of the original GemLightbox, Steve jumped at the opportunity to become one of its very first users during its launch year. As the technology evolved over the past decade, he consistently upgraded through every generation, advancing from the first model to the current GemLightbox iterations.

"I think over 10 years. I was one of the very first people, I think the first year it was available, I bought it. It seemed to be a great idea, and it certainly has been."

The unit's versatility and intuitive design enabled his team to produce professional photos efficiently, seamlessly switching backgrounds to suit different product lines.

"I like the ability to change from the white background to the black. You can get whatever type of pictures you like. Just the great clarity of it. You can keep evolving, and I just stay current for all those new iterations."

The Results

• Decade-Long Reliability: Supported business operations continuously for over 10 years across multiple product iterations.
• Superior Image Quality: Delivered crisp, high-clarity photos that elevated product presentation.
• Enhanced Efficiency: Streamlined the in-store photography workflow to save valuable time.
• Increased Sales: Helped boost sales through professional visual assets.

Over a decade of use, GemLightbox has provided unmatched image clarity and operational efficiency to support sustained retail growth.

The Challenge

Before upgrading to GemLightbox Max, CB Diamonds relied on temporary lighting solutions to capture content for their custom pieces.

Their setup included a small clip-on light attached directly to a smartphone camera. While this provided basic illumination, it fell short of capturing professional, shadow-free videos and high-detail visuals needed for online sales.

"We were using a clip-on light that goes onto the camera of the phone and it would look okay, but this definitely seems like it would look a lot better."

GemLightbox Max's Role

Seeing the GemLightbox Max in action revealed an immediate upgrade in camera execution and lighting precision. The system provided a completely shadow-free environment with a clean, professional white background.

"No shadows, you get the all-white background. It looks amazing."

The automated lighting setup and high-resolution capabilities made capturing detailed product videos significantly faster and far more reliable.

"It definitely saves like a good amount of time taking videos a bunch of stuff. It definitely saves a lot of time. I've never seen anything take as good as a video as this before and it's definitely going to elevate your company."

The Results

• Shadowless Video Quality: Achieved clean, shadow-free product videos with a perfect all-white background.
• Streamlined Workflow: Saved significant time across daily video and photography tasks.
• Elevated Brand Visuals: Upgraded visual media quality to showcase custom jewelry professionally across digital channels.
• Professional Equipment Upgrade: Replaced phone clip-ons with a complete, revolutionary jewelry photography setup.

By adopting GemLightbox Max, CB Diamonds transformed their studio video workflow and elevated their product presentation.

The Challenge

For Michael & Sons Jewelers, precision and professionalism are everything, especially when it comes to appraisals. But traditional jewelry photography made it difficult to capture consistent, high-quality images that reflected the true clarity and craftsmanship of each piece. Using phones for photography meant inconsistent lighting, poor focus, and time lost on manual editing. With multiple staff handling appraisals and inventory, maintaining quality across images became a growing challenge.

GemLightbox and GemCam Pro’s Role

David Lorenz, who manages operations at Michael & Sons, found the solution in GemLightbox.

“As things keep progressing with the GemLightbox, it’s made our job a lot easier, especially with our appraisals,” he shared. “The clarity of the pictures is much better, the lighting, the focusing, my staff loves them.”

The simplicity and reliability of GemLightbox quickly turned it into an essential part of their daily workflow. It became such a core part of their process that his wife purchased another unit to handle all their inventory photography.

When GemCam Pro was introduced, David didn’t hesitate to upgrade.

“It took me 30 seconds to say yes,” he said. “The clarity is unbelievable. We’ll be using it on our Facebook Live events now as well to help promote our jewelry better.”

The Results

With GemLightbox and GemCam Pro, Michael & Sons achieved:

• Sharper, More Consistent Appraisal Photos: Professional-level clarity and lighting without technical effort.

• Happier, More Efficient Staff: Team members no longer rely on phones or editing tools.

• Elevated Customer Presentation: Clear, detailed visuals that enhance trust during appraisals.

• Social Media-Ready Content: Ready-to-use visuals that strengthen online engagement.

“It’s made my staff a lot happier, knowing they don’t have to use their phone anymore,” David explained. “Things have just gotten a lot clearer for them. The overall professional appearance when we do our appraisals is very, very good.”

For Michael & Sons, the combination of GemLightbox and GemCam Pro didn’t just improve photography—it elevated every part of their appraisal and marketing workflow, proving that clarity behind the camera translates to confidence in front of the customer.

The Challenge

For Palmer’s Jewelry in Indiana, capturing professional-grade photos had always been one of the most time-consuming parts of running the business.
“Attempting to get good jewelry images with a traditional lightbox and a phone camera or even a high-end traditional camera, you can never quite capture the essence of jewelry,” Jess shared.

Despite investing time and effort, traditional setups made it difficult to achieve the color, shine, and precision their jewelry deserved. Each photo required multiple retakes, manual adjustments, and editing that ate into valuable work hours.

GemLightbox and GemCam Pro’s Role

When Jess discovered the combination of GemLightbox and GemCam Pro at the RJO Show in Schaumburg, it immediately felt like the missing piece in their workflow.
“This is going to make our life so much easier,” Jess said. “How fast it is, the quality of the picture that you get, the 360 image, the AI automated description, it’s going to save me hours of time.”

The intuitive design of GemLightbox handled everything that used to take multiple steps including lighting, focus, color accuracy, and even description writing. With GemCam Pro and its enhanced 360 capture, Jess could finally photograph every angle of a piece with consistent clarity and realism.

The Results

For Palmer’s Jewelry, adopting GemLightbox and GemCam Pro turned photography from a chore into an instant, repeatable process:

• Time Savings: Automated lighting and AI descriptions save hours each week.

• Consistent Quality: Studio-grade photos with realistic reflections and color accuracy.

• 360° Coverage: Dynamic product views that help customers appreciate craftsmanship online.

• Effortless Workflow: No more complex setups or endless retakes.

“This seems to do exactly that from what I’ve seen from the demonstration,” Jess said.

GemLightbox and GemCam Pro gave Palmer’s Jewelry the tools to work smarter, showcase their pieces beautifully, and reclaim valuable hours for what matters most: creating jewelry and serving customers.

The Challenge

For Wahl Jewelers, balancing craftsmanship with marketing and customer communication meant finding tools that could deliver professional jewelry photos without the need for complex setups or technical know-how.

“I’m a technological neophyte,” said Parker. “I really don’t like technology, and these guys make it easy.”

Before using GemLightbox, taking photos for social media, the website, and repair consultations required extra time and often inconsistent results. Parker needed something simple, fast, and professional that would make photography effortless for his team.

GemLightbox and GemSparkle’s Role

After using GemLightbox for a while, Parker was quick to notice the difference.

“I’m actually really impressed with how the GemLightbox makes even my pictures look clear. It’s really easy to touch them up, really easy to add backgrounds. The new AI components—I’m actually surprised how well they work.”

The combination of GemLightbox’s built-in lighting, turntable, and AI-powered background tools made it easier to capture, edit, and upload professional-quality images and videos in minutes.

“It’s given us better content not just for our website and inventory, but also makes social a whole lot better too. We’re getting better Instagram photos, better Instagram videos. The turntable makes it really easy to just see every aspect of that piece in one shot.”

At the RJO Show in Schaumburg, Parker also got his first look at the new GemSparkle, designed for capturing natural lighting and movement in jewelry videos.

“The new GemSparkle is gonna be great for videos. I can take a piece outside, show it with the background of our store. But what I really like is being able to show a repair customer, ‘Look, you really do need prongs—these are paper thin.’ I think it’ll pay for itself in two repairs.”

The Results

With GemLightbox and GemSparkle, Wahl Jewelers has achieved:

• Consistent Professional Photos – High-quality results for both inventory and marketing.

• Faster Workflow – Quick, simple photography without technical barriers.

• Improved Social Presence – Engaging Instagram-ready photos and videos.

• Enhanced Customer Communication – Clear visual explanations for repair estimates.

• AI Efficiency – Automatic background removal and editing that save hours of work.

GemLightbox and GemSparkle have empowered Wahl Jewelers to bring clarity, speed, and creativity to every part of their jewelry photography—proving that even those who “don’t like technology” can capture brilliance effortlessly.

The Challenge

For GN Diamonds, presenting the true brilliance and fire of their diamonds is essential. Standard smartphone cameras often fail to capture the light performance and intricate details that define a diamond’s quality. When every facet matters, traditional photography can flatten the sparkle and lose the emotion of the piece.

Rosalie wanted a way to highlight what GN Diamonds does best—light performance and precision—through images and videos that truly reflect the beauty of their stones.

“We’re very proud of the light performance, and to really be able to see in great detail how much this shines and sparkles is amazing.”

GemSparkle’s Role

At the RJO Show in Schaumburg, Rosalie experienced the power of GemSparkle firsthand during a live tutorial session. Using a 2.50-carat round brilliant-cut diamond—GIA certified, triple excellent, H color, and SI2 clarity—she saw how easily GemSparkle’s 5× macro lens and LED lighting system captured every fire and reflection.

“I was playing around with it myself and decided to stop by the booth to make sure I was using it properly—and this is absolutely magnificent.”

GemSparkle’s multiple lighting modes, including the signature sparkling light effect, revealed the full brilliance of the diamond in ways no standard phone camera could replicate.

“It looks so much better than me just taking a picture with my iPhone.”

The Results

With GemSparkle, GN Diamonds can now:

• Capture True Brilliance – Highlight the diamond’s fire, clarity, and light return with realistic precision.

For Rosalie and the team at GN Diamonds, GemSparkle isn’t just a lighting tool—it’s a new way to communicate diamond excellence visually, helping clients appreciate every nuance of cut, clarity, and light.

The Challenge

At the JIS Miami Show 2025, jewelry and technology professionals gathered to see the latest innovations redefining the industry. Among them was Elisa from Vtron Lasers, whose company specializes in precision laser engraving and cutting for fine jewelry. Capturing the intricate detail of laser-crafted pieces has always been a challenge, with traditional cameras often producing blurred depth or inconsistent focus.

GemLightbox’s Role

During a live demonstration at the GemLightbox booth, Elisa experienced firsthand how GemIQ, the newest AI-powered upgrade to GemLightbox, solves these challenges.

“That’s perfect - especially if you have detail in the background of your piece,” she said as she watched the AI-driven system maintain complete focus from front to back.

The GemIQ AI focus stacking feature ensures that every part of the jewelry remains sharp, while the software simultaneously captures four product-ready images and generates an automated description, saving time and reducing manual effort.

“I love how the AI-incorporated technology makes everything very efficient for the end user,” Elisa added.

The Results

Elisa’s experience demonstrated how GemLightbox with GemIQ provides an intuitive, high-precision solution for modern jewelry photography:

• Perfect Depth of Focus – AI automatically keeps every layer of the jewelry sharp and clear.

• Efficiency in Workflow – Multiple professional-quality photos and descriptions generated instantly.

• Ease of Use – Simplified setup that eliminates the complexity of traditional photography.

• Consistent Results – Studio-level images achieved in seconds, ideal for marketing or e-commerce.

By pairing cutting-edge AI imaging with intuitive design, GemLightbox showcased how jewelers and manufacturers alike can now capture their craftsmanship with clarity, consistency, and speed, setting a new standard for jewelry photography innovation.

The Challenge

For diamond professionals, achieving flawless jewelry photography is often a slow and complex process. Capturing a diamond’s sparkle requires multiple lighting setups, specialized lenses, and plenty of patience - especially when working with reflective stones that are notoriously difficult to photograph.

As one exhibitor explained, the challenge wasn’t just about quality - it was about time and practicality.

“We were very troubled with photography. We needed many different kinds of equipment for this.”

At trade shows, where speed and presentation are everything, lugging around multiple pieces of gear just to capture one perfect shot was no longer sustainable.

GemSparkle’s Role

After first trying GemSparkle, they purchased it during the Hong Kong International Jewellery Show, impressed by its ability to replace an entire lighting setup with a single compact tool.

“Now we got this GemSparkle in three pieces - and we just tried it two, three times… it’s very good for diamond people.”

GemSparkle’s specialized lighting modes - including glowing and sparkling effects—allow diamond jewelers to highlight facets and brilliance instantly, without extra equipment or editing.

“It’s very easy to use. You save your time first, because we were always troubled with photography and equipment. But this is the best.”

The Results

With GemSparkle, diamond professionals can now:

• Save Time – Capture perfect shots in seconds instead of hours.

• Simplify Setup – Replace multiple pieces of gear with one portable tool.

• Highlight Natural Brilliance – Instantly bring out diamond fire and sparkle.

• Work Efficiently at Shows – Compact, travel-ready design ideal for international exhibitions.

At the Hong Kong International Jewellery Show, GemSparkle proved exactly what the diamond community needed: a fast, reliable, and brilliantly simple solution that brings every stone’s sparkle to life - anywhere in the world.

The Challenge

At the AGTA Tucson Gem Show, gem educators, jewelers, and industry professionals gathered to explore the latest innovations in jewelry photography and lighting. Among them was Julia from Gem Academy, who specializes in gem education and content creation.

For Julia, one of the biggest challenges in gemstone photography is lighting - capturing the true sparkle and depth of a gem without harsh reflections or losing detail.

“It’s so hard to get light into the gem. I’m constantly blocking the light that I’m trying to use,” she explained.

GemSparkle’s Role

During a live demo at the show, Julia experienced GemSparkle, the new portable lighting attachment designed to bring out the natural brilliance of gemstones for photo and video content.

The team demonstrated its multiple light temperatures - white, cool white, and yellow - along with unique modes including glowing, sparkling, and constant lighting. When the sparkling mode was activated, Julia immediately noticed the difference.

“Yeah, it already looks amazing… You can see all the facets just popping out. Normally that’s very difficult to catch up with. Oh, it looks so clear.”

GemSparkle’s macro lens and LED lighting captured every facet of a moissanite gemstone with remarkable clarity, producing natural reflections that mimic how gems sparkle in real life.

“It looks perfect… and it looks so easy.”

The Results

Julia instantly saw the potential of GemSparkle for educational and content creation use:

• Enhanced Clarity – Light reaches into every angle of the gem, revealing its full brilliance.

• Versatile Modes – Adjustable colors and sparkling effects for different stones and environments.

• Video + Photo Ready – Seamless switching between stills and videos for gem demonstrations.

• Portable and Easy to Use – Ideal for gem educators, content creators, and jewelers on the go.

“I’d use it to make content… to get those really clear pictures of the stones.”

GemSparkle’s live demonstration at AGTA Tucson showcased just how effortlessly anyone - from jewelers to educators, can capture true-to-life sparkle using nothing more than a smartphone and a touch of smart lighting innovation.

The Challenge

For Rocky’s Diamond Gallery, showcasing fine diamonds and jewelry meant constantly looking for better, faster ways to produce high-quality images. Early photography setups were time-consuming and clunky, slowing down workflows and distracting from the customer experience. Rocky knew there had to be an easier way.

GemLightbox’s Role

Rocky became one of GemLightbox’s earliest adopters, investing in the system over five years ago.

“It has evolved a lot. In the beginning, there was a slight struggle, but I had faith that I wanted an easier process and you guys have made it really nice.”

Rocky summed it up best: GemLightbox delivers time, ease, and constant innovation - the exact formula jewelers need to grow in today’s market.

The Challenge

Nathanel began modernizing his jewelry store to meet the demands of a digital-first market. Building an online presence meant creating professional visuals consistently, but without the right tools, the process was slow, difficult, and limited what his website could achieve. He needed a reliable solution that would evolve alongside his business.

GemLightbox’s Role

Nathanel discovered GemLightbox at the JIS Miami Show in October 2022, and it quickly became central to his business journey.

“We started with the first version of the GemLightbox. The first camera was a game changer, and then came the artificial intelligence, which has been evolving and has made our job much easier.”

GemLightbox not only simplified jewelry photography but also gave Nathanel the confidence to expand his online marketing.

“We couldn’t have had the website we have today without the GemLightbox. I think it’s an essential tool for our online marketing.”

Over the past two years, he has continued to upgrade—from the original GemCam to the latest GemCam Pro, appreciating how the technology has evolved.

“I believe that everything has an evolutionary scale… I could see all the benefits the new version has, so I’m pretty happy to sign up.”

The Results

• Marketing Impact: High-quality visuals that directly support sales and customer engagement.

“I feel that the product is going in a very good direction. Artificial intelligence is the real game changer.”

Two years after first meeting at JIS Miami, Nathanel sees GemLightbox not just as a tool, but as an essential part of his business evolution.

The Challenge

For Yes I Do Diamonds in Hong Kong, efficiency is everything. As a busy jewelry retailer, managing product photography and editing often took too much time on the back end, pulling focus away from what mattered most—serving customers.

“Production takes so much time, and it’s not my expertise,” explained Bessy. “We needed a way to reduce editing and focus more on customers and their needs.”

GemCam’s Role

At the Hong Kong International Jewellery Show, Bessy discovered GemCam and was immediately impressed by its potential.

“I’m really amazed by what GemCam can do. I think it will help our everyday business to save a lot of time on the production back end and let us focus on the front end to deal with customers and address their needs.”

GemCam’s seamless integration stood out as a game changer.

“The integration to social media as well as our website is fantastic. With the AI feature, we’re expecting it to save us a great one tenth of the time.”

For Bessy, the standout benefit was simple: no more tedious editing.

“It will save us a lot of time on editing and retouching, which is not my experience.”

When asked to describe GemCam in one word, Bessy summed it up as:

“Robotic.”

The Results

With GemCam, Yes I Do Diamonds is transforming its workflow:

• Time Savings: Significant reduction in editing and retouching.

• Integration: Smooth publishing to social media and website platforms.

• AI-Powered Efficiency: Automation that accelerates content production.

• Customer Focus: More time to build relationships and meet client needs.

With GemCam, Yes I Do Diamonds is achieving exactly that - working smarter, saving time, and keeping the focus where it matters most: on customers.

The Challenge

For Green Shine, specialists in Colombian emeralds, presenting gemstones with accuracy and brilliance is both an art and a business necessity. But emeralds are notoriously difficult to photograph—capturing their clarity, depth, and color variations often required complex setups and wasted hours.

“We have been using the GemLightbox for almost two years and it’s incredible for us to have all our stones and to send beautiful pictures to our customers around the world,” said Juliana.

Green Shine needed a tool that simplified emerald photography while supporting their growing international business.

GemLightbox and GemSparkle’s Role

GemLightbox proved to be the solution.

“Our favorite feature is that you can take out the different colors of the light. We use different colors depending on the clarity and the color of the stones,” explained Rosie.

By customizing the lighting, Green Shine could highlight the natural brilliance of Colombian emeralds while maintaining consistency across their catalog. With GemLightbox, they were able to share professional-quality photos quickly and reliably with clients worldwide.

The addition of GemSparkle further streamlined their work.

With GemLightbox, Green Shine isn’t just simplifying emerald photography—they’re also building a platform to empower women and share Colombia’s most prized gemstones with the world.

The Challenge

As a family-owned jeweler, Medawar’s Jewelers is known for craftsmanship and customer service. But keeping up with digital demands meant more than just creating jewelry—it meant producing professional images and videos for both social media and the website. Ronny Medawar turned to GemLightbox and GemSparkle to elevate their digital presence and customer experience.

“The GemLightbox has really helped us transform our social media as well as our website images. I mean, they’ve taken it to the next level.”

With GemSparkle added across all store locations, Medawar’s Jewelers also enhanced the way they connect with customers directly.

The Challenge

Sorelly Jewelers has built its reputation on decades of craftsmanship and customer service. But in today’s jewelry market, photography alone isn’t enough. Customers expect personalized, interactive shopping experiences, both online and in-store. Sorelly needed tools that could keep them at the cutting edge of technology without losing focus on what mattered most—the client.

GemLightbox’s Role

Sorelly Jewelers invested in a full GemLightbox kit and the GemSparkle , and immediately saw the potential of AI-powered jewelry presentation.

“The technology is super great. It’s using AI technology, which is really cool, and we are very, very excited to use it.”

With GemLightbox, their team can create consistent, high-quality product photos and videos in minutes. And with AI-driven features, customers can now visualize rings on their hands instantly, turning ordinary product photos into interactive experiences.

“Nowadays we have AI technology, so we must use it. You guys have this technology where we can just take a photo of the ring, and then a woman can see it on her hand.”

The Challenge

As one of the oldest jewelers in South India, Prathibha Jewellery House prides itself on offering fine jewelry and gemstones for every occasion. But despite their expertise, showcasing jewelry—especially colored stones—posed a major challenge.

“I was almost setting up a traditional photo booth at my store because I didn’t know what else to do,” said Sanjeev, Partner and GIA-certified gemologist. “I was anxious about the learning curve of teaching my people photography, because I’m not a photographer.”

Stone photography was particularly difficult. Metals were photographed fairly well, but diamonds and colored stones consistently fell short of expectations.

GemLightbox’s Role

At the Hong Kong International Jewellery Show, Sanjeev discovered GemLightbox by chance - and it immediately solved his concerns.

“The AI technology in your software is really nice because the stacking was something I was trying to read about, which is automatically happening in this. The autofocus and the colors were just fantastic. So I feel it’s just a plug-and-play thing that I really like in your system.”

GemLightbox offered the convenience of an all-in-one solution, eliminating the need for a complex setup or professional training. It provided consistent, high-quality results that made photographing colored stones effortless.

When asked to sum it up, Sanjeev didn’t hesitate:

“Convenient. And high quality.”

The Results

For Prathibha Jewellery House, GemLightbox transformed a frustrating challenge into an easy, reliable process:

• Convenience: A true plug-and-play system requiring no photography expertise.

• High-Quality Results: Professional photos of both metals and difficult colored stones.

• AI-Powered Efficiency: Automated focus stacking and color accuracy built into the software.

• Confidence: Freed from the complexity of traditional setups, staff can focus on sales and service.

“One more thing I liked was the way it captured colored stones,” Sanjeev added. “Because stone photography is particularly difficult… with colored stones and diamonds it was exceptionally difficult at home. When I saw this in your system, it was really good.”

With GemLightbox, Prathibha Jewellery House found not only convenience and quality but also a solution that supports their reputation as one of South India’s most trusted jewelers.

The Challenge

For Cássia Matos, working at her family’s jewelry business in Mato Grosso, Brazil, means balancing tradition with innovation.

At Joalheria Neucina Matos, their hallmark is quality — but what truly sets them apart is their focus on online sales. In a rapidly evolving digital landscape, they recognized that strong visuals were essential for standing out and building trust with remote customers.

“We work in the jewelry industry — at Joalheria Neucina Matos in Brazil, in Mato Grosso,” said Cássia. “Our main differentiator is online sales.”

But competing online brought its own challenges. Jewelry is tactile, emotional, and highly visual. Without professional product images and videos, even the most stunning pieces risked being overlooked. Capturing the brilliance and detail of fine jewelry in a way that resonated online was becoming a daily hurdle.

GemLightbox’s Role

Cássia and her team turned to GemLightbox, and immediately saw the difference.

“The GemLightbox camera helps us a lot in this segment,” she shared, “which is online selling — something that is in very high demand nowadays.”

With GemCam and Sparkle Lighting, Joalheria Neucina Matos was able to quickly produce studio-quality images and videos right from a smartphone. The system allowed them to photograph and film their pieces with true-to-life sparkle and color, without hiring a professional photographer or investing in a complicated setup.

Easy to use, portable, and consistent, GemLightbox became an essential part of their content workflow. Whether updating the website or engaging with customers on social media, they now had a reliable way to showcase their pieces — clearly, beautifully, and confidently.

The Results

Since implementing GemLightbox, the team at Neucina Matos has:

• Improved the visual quality of their online catalog, leading to greater customer confidence
• Streamlined their content creation process, saving hours of editing and retakes
• Enhanced customer experience, allowing clients to make informed buying decisions remotely

Most importantly, they've been able to keep pace with the growing demands of e-commerce, without compromising on brand quality.

“The GemLightbox camera helps us a lot,” Cássia emphasized. For a business where online trust begins with a clear photo, GemLightbox delivered exactly what they needed — clarity, sparkle, and speed.

Joalheria Neucina Matos continues to lead with confidence in Brazil’s growing digital jewelry space — proving that with the right tools, even tradition can shine online.

The Challenge

For LT Denny, known for fine jewelry and custom design, efficiency is key. Between managing customer appraisals, inventory, and an online presence, the team needed a way to capture photos quickly and integrate them seamlessly into their systems. Traditional photography setups slowed down the process, adding friction to both sales and operations.

GemLightbox’s Role

Danny and his team at LT Denny adopted GemLightbox, and it immediately improved their photography workflow.

“As far as the efficiency for getting pictures for our website, for appraisals for our customers, it’s just very efficient and quick.”

The integration with Edge made the process even smoother, ensuring photos were added to appraisals and records without delay.

“It’s been very efficient and quick as far as integrating with Edge and getting those photos in there very quickly.”

Last year, LT Denny added GemCam, which Danny described as the missing piece.

“We had the Lightbox originally. We got the GemCam last year and it’s been like a nice little missing puzzle piece as far as just making our inventory and everything else go a lot smoother.”

The Results

With GemLightbox and GemCam, LT Denny achieved:

• Faster Photography: Quick image capture for appraisals, website, and customer records.

• Seamless Integration: Direct syncing with Edge to streamline operations.

• Inventory Efficiency: Smooth workflows that reduced time spent managing stock visuals.

• Improved Customer Service: Professional photos ready for appraisals and online listings.

For LT Denny, GemLightbox and GemCam are no longer just tools—they’re essential parts of their day-to-day operations, ensuring photography supports the business instead of slowing it down.

The Challenge

As a jewelry wholesaler dealing in gemstones and handmade pieces, Maria from R.D. El Lloro knew the importance of showcasing products with clarity and detail. But for years, product photography had been a frustrating barrier.

“We don’t even take pictures,” Maria admitted. “My dad bought a light box a long time ago and an expensive camera before — and it never worked. The photos didn’t have the quality. It wasn’t very good.”

Discouraged by poor results and wasted investment, her father was skeptical when they came across GemLightbox.

“I told him, ‘Hey, let’s look at it,’ and he was like, ‘No, I already have that. It doesn’t work. It’s going to be there and it’s very expensive… whatever, whatever.’”

That all changed the moment they saw GemLightbox in action.

GemLightbox's Role

When Maria’s father watched the demo and experienced the capabilities first-hand, his hesitation turned into awe.

“He saw the program and saw everything, and he got a surprise. He was like, ‘Wow. This is different. This is… wow.’”

What made the biggest impact? The camera quality and the 360° photography that brings each piece to life from every angle.

“That’s my favorite feature,” Maria said. “You get the whole idea of the piece.”

The Results

While R.D. El Lloro currently focuses on national trade, Maria sees GemLightbox as a key tool for future growth and efficiency.

“If I had to describe everything I saw today in one word, it would be: efficiency.”

Whether they're capturing gemstones or handmade designs, GemLightbox is opening the door for R.D. El Lloro to build better visuals — and better business — one click at a time.

You can find R.D. El Lloro in Veguro, trading under R-D-E-L-L-L-O-R-O.

The Challenge

For Andrea Montgomery, designing stunning jewelry was the easy part. The challenge was efficiently photographing, listing, and describing each piece online. Traditional photography setups took too much time, and writing product descriptions often slowed down the process of getting her creations in front of customers.

GemLightbox and GemSparkle’s Role

Andrea found a solution with GemLightbox, which became her all-in-one content creation tool.

“It’s great—it’s an all-in-one solution for taking pictures of jewelry to post online. It has a clear white background, like a transparent background. It’s wonderful that you can do videos too, so the turntable is super easy. It makes listing pieces faster and easier from when I create them.”

GemLightbox’s new AI feature also impressed Andrea:

“They’ve added a new AI feature that’ll write the description of the piece as well, which is super handy if you’re a little bit stumped on what to say.”

At the Tucson Gem Show, Andrea also explored GemSparkle, designed for portable, on-the-go content creation.

“I think that’s great too—it’s nice because it’s a transportable feature. If you want to do some outside or on-location shots as well, you’re not tied to your computer to do it. It certainly looked prettier than the phone by itself.”

The Results

GemLightbox and GemSparkle helped Andrea transform her workflow by:

• Saving Time: Faster photography and easier product listings.

• Professional Content: High-quality photos, videos, and backgrounds in minutes.

• Smarter Descriptions: AI-generated product descriptions to speed up e-commerce tasks.

• Flexibility: Portable photography solutions for on-location shoots.

For Andrea Montgomery, GemLightbox and GemSparkle deliver exactly what modern jewelers need: simple, professional, and versatile tools that support both creativity and business growth.

The Challenge

As a second-generation jewelry store, Harkleroad Diamonds faced the challenge of keeping pace with a rapidly changing customer landscape. Moving into e-commerce, upgrading their website, and staying relevant on social media required professional-quality content. But without the right tools, creating clear, consistent images and videos for customers would be both time-consuming and inefficient.

GemLightbox’s Role

After six months with GemLightbox, Caleb has seen the difference it makes.

“It’s been incredibly helpful, particularly with our inventory—getting good, clear pictures. It’s been helpful for social media, and we’re getting ready to change over our website to a different platform. Just having that clear picture, having videos to send to customers… it’s been incredibly helpful and really kind of upped the value that we can provide to them.”

GemLightbox gave Harkleroad Diamonds the tools to create studio-quality images and videos in minutes, making it easier to showcase inventory online, engage with social media followers, and provide customers with visuals that inspire trust.

The Results

With GemLightbox, Harkleroad Diamonds strengthened both their digital and customer-facing presence:

• Professional Inventory Photography: High-quality, consistent visuals across platforms.

• Social Media Impact: Stronger engagement through polished images and videos.

• E-Commerce Readiness: Content tailored for a new website and online selling.

• Customer Value: Clear visuals that elevate trust and help close sales.

Caleb also shared his philosophy for jewelers navigating industry change:

“Don’t be afraid to change. I’m a second-generation jewelry store, and the customer is changing very fast. Don’t be afraid to do something uncomfortable—change your business model, adapt, and do whatever you have to do to service a customer.”

With GemLightbox, Harkleroad Diamonds is doing just that: adapting, innovating, and continuing to provide value to customers in a digital-first world.

The Challenge

GCM Jewelry has been a fixture in Bossier City, Louisiana for 27 years, evolving from a wholesale operation into a retail destination known for custom, antique, and estate pieces. Because so much of their inventory is one-of-a-kind, stock images have never been an option. Every piece needs to be photographed individually, and the quality of those images directly affects how well customers can understand and connect with what they're looking at. Early on, capturing that quality meant dealing with cumbersome equipment. Pop-up lightboxes paired with large camera lights made the process feel more like running a photography studio than running a jewelry business. Getting a usable shot required manipulating multiple pieces of equipment, and the whole setup was far from practical for day-to-day use.

Photography also plays a central role in how GCM Jewelry works with clients on custom pieces. Ainsley explained that customer consultations often involve blending inspiration from both sides: "I'm looking at your social media, here's my social media, let's merge the two and create you the perfect piece." That kind of visual conversation depends entirely on having strong, professional images to bring to the table.

GemLightbox Max's Role

GCM Jewelry first adopted GemLightbox in 2018, and the difference was immediate. Gone was the sprawling studio setup. In its place was a compact, desk-friendly system that made consistent, professional jewelry photography accessible without a steep learning curve.

Ainsley described the shift simply: "Now you have something that's just right there on your desk, smaller than a computer, and it's just easy to use."

After nearly eight years as a customer, Ainsley attended a demonstration of the GemLightbox Max and came away with a clear sense of what the upgrade would mean for the business. The AI features, in particular, stood out as a significant step forward.

"The amount of time GemIQ's AI is going to save us, holy moly. It's going to save us so much time, so much money. It's going to be a game changer for sure."

GCM Jewelry is currently in the middle of a full rebrand, with a new slogan centered on reintroducing the business to its market. Plans are already in place to integrate GemLightbox Max across social media, their point-of-sale system, and a new website. For Ainsley, the timing feels right: this is the tool that will help take GCM Jewelry to the next level.

The Results

• GemIQ Customer since 2018, with nearly eight years of continued use across business growth and evolution.

•  Replaced bulky, studio-dependent photography equipment with a compact, desk-based system that simplified the entire workflow.

• Stronger social media imagery now supports in-person consultations, helping customers visualize and co-create custom pieces.

• AI features in GemLightbox Max identified as a major time and cost-saving opportunity ahead of a full business relaunch.

• Integration planned across social media, POS, and a new website as part of GCM Jewelry's reintroduction campaign

After nearly a decade of partnership, GemLightbox Max is helping GCM Jewelry step into its next chapter.

The Challenge

For Daniela, a longtime customer and jeweler, showcasing jewelry with clarity and consistency is essential. Before GemLightbox, achieving professional-quality photos and videos often meant extra time, effort, and equipment—especially while traveling to shows where speed and efficiency are critical.

GemLightbox and GemSparkle’s Role

“It’s the best product to take pictures, videos, everything.”

At the Centurion Show in Phoenix, Daniela also tried the new GemSparkle, a portable clip-on tool designed for jewelers on the move.

“This new small GemSparkle thing… I’ve been using it at the show, and it really is a game changer for us to take pictures on the go. I really recommend it.”

The Challenge

For Denny Wong Designs, known for exquisite custom jewelry, capturing pieces in their true brilliance was an ongoing challenge. Traditional photography required outside photographers, often overseas, which made the process slow, costly, and complicated.

“Sometimes we even had to hire a photographer in China to take pictures,” Denny explained. “And this is a lot easier.”

In a world where customers expect professional, eye-catching visuals across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and e-commerce sites, Denny needed a way to bring photography in-house while maintaining the highest quality.

GemLightbox and GemSparkle’s Role

Denny adopted GemLightbox several years ago, and it quickly became essential to his business.

“The pictures you can take are really good pictures—nothing compared to what we did ourselves.”

With GemLightbox, Denny gained the ability to capture professional-grade images quickly and reliably, cutting out the dependency on external photographers.

At the Tucson 2025 show, Denny also explored the new GemSparkle, a clip-on smartphone tool designed to create engaging video content with different LED effects and light temperatures.

“That’s more sparkles, yes,” Denny said. “When customers are shopping online, they love to see it. For Instagram, for TikTok, this is the perfect tool.”

The Results

For Denny Wong Designs,  GemLightbox and GemSparkle unlocked new ways to market and sell jewelry:

• Professional Quality: Clear, sharp photography that outperforms DIY attempts.

• Efficiency: Eliminated the need for overseas photography services.

• Social Media Engagement: Tools like GemSparkle create vibrant, eye-catching videos perfect for Instagram and TikTok.

• Customer Delight: Easy to share videos and photos with clients, making their shopping experience more engaging.

“We send those videos to our customers for them to use,” Denny shared. “It’s easy.”

By combining  GemLightbox with GemSparkle, Denny Wong Designs now captures the beauty of their pieces with precision, while also creating social-ready content that resonates with today’s digital shoppers.

The Challenge

For Judith Kinghorn Collections in Minneapolis, the artistry has always been about creating one-of-a-kind jewelry. Over the years, Judith also built a vast collection of gemstones that she wanted to share and market. As she gradually phased out of full-time jewelry-making, she faced a new challenge: how to professionally photograph and present her stones so others could appreciate their beauty and purchase them.

“I have a lot of stones,” Judith explained. “And so I want to be able to take good photos of the stones so that people can see what I have.”

GemLightbox’s Role

Judith first heard about GemLightbox through another jeweler who recommended it. When she saw the results for herself at the Tucson show, she was impressed.

“I think it takes beautiful photos. I was looking for a way to showcase all the stones I’ve collected over the years, and this really does it.”

GemLightbox gave her a way to capture clear, consistent, and professional images without the need for a full photography studio. This meant she could focus less on the technical work and more on sharing her pieces with customers and collectors.

The Results

For Judith, GemLightbox provided both practical and personal value:

• Professional Quality: Beautiful, consistent photos of gemstones and jewelry.

• New Marketing Channel: A simple way to market her stone collection as she transitions her business.

• Legacy Support: A tool that helps her preserve and showcase her artistry beyond the studio.

Judith also had advice for jewelers just starting out:

“Practice, practice, practice. You really work hard, but there’s a lot of joy. My customers have become friends. I make connections, and even though I closed my studio, I still have friends who order things and have pieces custom made.”

With GemLightbox, Judith found a way to honor her collection and continue connecting with clients while embracing the next stage of her jewelry journey.

The Challenge

For Port Royal Jewelers in Naples, Florida, connecting with customers beyond the showroom was becoming increasingly important. Traditional marketing lacked personalization, and creating catalogs was time-consuming. Cordell wanted a way to keep past customers engaged with timely, relevant product suggestions for anniversaries, birthdays, and holidays.

GemLightbox’s Role

After picking up GemLightbox at the Tucson AGTA Show, Cordell immediately saw its potential.

“I really like the options that it has with the software. The ability to do categories and do catalogs is really, I think, gonna be a game changer for us.”

By pairing GemLightbox’s catalog features with QR codes, Port Royal Jewelers could send customized digital catalogs to clients—making outreach both personal and efficient.

“Being able to send custom catalogs to customers based on whether it’s the anniversary, their birthday, or if it’s a special time of the year like Christmas… that’s gonna be a big game changer for us.”

The Results

GemLightbox has opened up new possibilities for Port Royal Jewelers:

• Personalized Marketing: Targeted catalogs tailored to key customer milestones.

• Customer Engagement: Stronger connections with past buyers through timely outreach.

• Efficiency & Innovation: Simplified catalog creation and distribution using QR codes.

By combining artistry with technology, Port Royal Jewelers now delivers a modern, personalized experience that keeps customers coming back all year long.

The Challenge

For custom jewelry designers, accurately capturing gemstone color in photography is one of the most persistent challenges in the business. Standard setups often distort hues or flatten detail, making it difficult for clients to trust what they see online — a critical issue when color stones are a defining feature of a piece. Finding a solution that is both high-quality and simple enough to integrate into a boutique workflow is equally challenging. Many systems require technical expertise or extensive post-processing, adding time and complexity that smaller studios simply cannot absorb.

GemLightbox’s Role

After seeing the GemLightbox in action with his own pieces, Goldschmidt was struck by how precisely the system rendered color.

"What I particularly appreciate is that all the details of the jewelry are perfectly showcased — the color of the stone is the most difficult thing to capture, and it's perfectly true to the actual piece," he said.

"That's very important for colored stone jewelry, and obviously very valuable for sales." He also found the system accessible without a steep learning curve. "I find it's a very simple device to use, intuitive — it allows me to take photos and videos of great quality of my jewelry."

The Results

• Gemstone color rendered accurately and true-to-life, directly matching the physical piece.

• Fine details of custom jewelry captured clearly without complex lighting adjustments.

• Photo and video content produced efficiently within a boutique workflow.

• More compelling product imagery to support sales conversations with clients.

For Goldschmidt Boutique Paris, the GemLightbox delivers the color accuracy and simplicity that custom jewelry photography demands.

The Challenge

As an artist and jewelry designer, Fritz approaches the business from a creative angle. But like many designers, translating that artistry into professional, consistent visuals for customers was a challenge. Without the right tools, showing off unusual cuts or unique gemstones meant relying on inconsistent photos that didn’t fully capture their beauty.

GemLightbox’s Role

That changed when Fritz purchased GemLightbox at the Tucson Gem Show a year ago.

“I’m a very satisfied customer. I went with the lifetime software, and I think that was a great investment.”

With GemLightbox, Fritz gained a simple and reliable way to photograph and share his creations with customers. The device provided the professional-grade visuals he needed to highlight artistry and design while keeping the process efficient.

“Your GemLightbox has helped us share our work with customers,” he said. “I love it.”

At this year’s Tucson show, Fritz reflected on how GemLightbox had become part of his journey. As he drew inspiration from new vendors and unusual diamond cuts, he knew he could capture and present that inspiration more effectively thanks to the tool.

The Results

For Fritz, GemLightbox delivered both confidence and value:

• Professional Presentation: Clear, high-quality visuals that showcase artistry.

• Investment Value: Lifetime software proved to be a smart, cost-effective decision.

• Customer Engagement: Easier sharing of designs with clients, strengthening relationships.

“It’s a great time of year because our whole town turns into a gem show,” Fritz shared.

“You never know what you’re going to see—but with GemLightbox, I can share it all with my customers.”

The Challenge

For Marena, founder of Jewels by Marena, presenting her gemstones in a way that matched their natural beauty had always been a challenge. When customers shop online or through social channels, photographs and videos become the first impression. Without professional tools, capturing the vivid colors and fine details of gemstones like peridot and malachite often fell short.

As Marena explained, there was simply nothing on the market that truly delivered the level of quality she needed to showcase her pieces.

GemLightbox’s Role

That changed when Marena started using GemLightbox. At the Tucson Gem & Jewelry Show, she shared her experience:

“I absolutely love the GemLightbox. There’s nothing else on the market that gives you such a great video quality and photo quality to display what you’re working with.”

The intuitive setup allowed Marena to focus less on complicated lighting and more on her craft. With GemLightbox, her gemstone photography became both effortless and consistent—helping her bring out the unique colors, textures, and sparkle of each piece.

The Results

With GemLightbox, Jewels by Marena gained a reliable way to elevate her online presence and customer trust. High-quality video and photography made her gemstones stand out, particularly vibrant stones like peridot and malachite.

By simplifying her workflow and delivering consistent professional visuals, GemLightbox has become an essential part of her storytelling and sales process.

“There’s nothing else really on the market that gives you such great quality.”

GemLightbox didn’t just improve Marena’s photos—it helped her share the true brilliance of her gemstones with the world.

The Challenge

Based in the heart of Belize City, JC & Company Ltd. is a trusted name in both pawn services and retail jewelry. For Renee, who helps run the store’s day-to-day operations, presentation matters—especially when dealing with high-value items and building client trust remotely.

In a market where photos often serve as the first impression, JC & Company needed a reliable way to showcase the full detail and brilliance of their inventory. Traditional cameras weren’t cutting it.

GemLightbox's Role

While attending the JCK show, Renee discovered GemLightbox, and what stood out immediately was the clarity.

“I stopped at the booth here at JCK, and immediately I noticed the camera feature — how detailed the pictures were.”

But it wasn’t just about quality—it was about efficiency and convenience. The 360° camera feature offered a full view of each item in just a few clicks, perfect for web listings, emails, and client outreach.

“The 360 camera I really love. I think it's so convenient to take a snapshot of the entire item — to your website, to your email, to send out to clients.”

With GemLightbox, Renee found a solution that not only elevated visual content but streamlined the workflow—making it easier to serve clients locally and abroad with speed and confidence.

The Results

For JC & Company, GemLightbox is opening new possibilities in how they communicate value through visuals:

• Professional-grade detail at their fingertips
• Faster turnaround for product photos and client requests
• A stronger online presence with 360° views
• Improved buyer confidence through crystal-clear imagery

“I just think it's a great product overall.”

For Renee, GemLightbox isn’t just a photography tool—it’s a smart investment in efficiency, trust, and presentation that helps JC & Company shine, one piece at a time.

The Challenge

In the heart of Hesperia, California, Monze, owner of Yoli’s Jewelry, is redefining how jewelry is sold—one livestream at a time. Her business specializes in 925 silver and 14K gold jewelry, offering a stunning range of rings, earrings, and diamonds to a growing customer base across social platforms.

Selling primarily through social media lives and their website, Monze faced a common challenge: how to capture the quality and brilliance of her pieces in a way that matched the energy and trust she builds with her online community.

“We usually sell through lives on social media... We also do diamonds, and we sell silver 925 and fourteen karat gold.”

The issue wasn’t just about visuals—it was about credibility. With smartphone cameras often falling short, Monze needed a better way to showcase the fine details that distinguish her pieces—and convert viewers into buyers.

GemLightbox's Role

While attending a jewelry show, Monze discovered GemLightbox. Though she didn’t yet own the system, what she saw left a strong impression.

“What we liked about it was that it’s a really quick and easy way to get photos and videos, and the products come out very clear.”

The built-in lighting and simplified setup stood out immediately. Without the need for complex equipment or a photography background, she realized GemLightbox could help her create professional, scroll-stopping visuals—right from her phone.

“We like the lighting, and overall it’s just good quality.”

GemLightbox became more than a photography tool—it became a content creation solution. For a business where visual quality drives online trust, this was a game-changer.

The Results

By integrating GemLightbox into their content strategy, Yoli’s Jewelry is positioned to:

• Produce high-quality visuals faster
• Increase product clarity during live sales and web listings
• Attract more online viewers and potential buyers
• Elevate brand perception with studio-level imagery

“I think it’s going to attract more people because of the good quality it has — compared to like a normal camera phone.”

GemLightbox is helping Monze bring out the brilliance in every piece she sells—proving that for today’s online jewelers, quality content isn’t optional—it’s essential.

The Challenge

As a former newspaper photographer, Sarah, co-owner of Weiss Jewelry LA, knows what it takes to capture the perfect shot. But when it came to photographing jewelry, even her professional experience came with challenges.

“I had big cameras, huge soft box setups. My setup was as big as a table just to try to photograph jewelry,” she said. “In fact, I had a bar with a camera, I would have to get up on a ladder. And I had had it. I didn’t have room for that. I didn’t have time for that. I’d be photo stacking — all the nonsense.”

The traditional process was overwhelming — requiring time, space, and post-production work that wasn’t sustainable for a fast-paced retail environment. When clients requested product images or videos, it meant a whole photoshoot, retouching, and often, delays.

That all changed when Sarah discovered GemLightbox.

GemLightbox's Role

“I came across GemLightbox and everything changed.”

Since adopting GemLightbox a few years ago, Sarah has used multiple products in the lineup — and the impact has been transformational.

“I just — I love it,” she said. “I love your products. I love the ease of use. And now with the photo stacking, I’m really excited.”

With a compact setup, built-in lighting, and AI-enhanced photography, Sarah can now create professional-grade content right in the store — without ladders, lighting rigs, or editing software.

“It helps me a lot, especially if my clients express interest in a product,” she shared. “I can quickly throw that in the Gem Lightbox, do a professional video, and send it to them by text. Whereas before, I had to order a photography for it. It was a whole process — Photoshop, all that stuff.”

Now, she can capture multiple angles, eliminate background distractions, and share content instantly — all in one smooth workflow.

“Because the AI is so good in the photo box, it’s just fast. It’s cool. I can get things from different angles — whereas before it was a headache.”

Even adding new inventory has become seamless.

“It condensed my time. And you know, when I make new pieces and I put them in my inventory — easy. I can get them from every angle. It’s wonderful. It’s fantastic. I’m thrilled.”

But her favorite feature? A small detail that makes a big difference for high-end visuals.

“My favorite feature about the machine is honestly the way that my pendants can look dangling from a chain when the upper turntable turns them,” Sarah said. “It is so smooth — and that’s something really difficult. Generally, pendants — you have to get on a backdrop and then you see the backdrop, there’s shadows. This is just so perfect. Yeah, it’s my favorite.”

The Results

GemLightbox has empowered Sarah to do what once required an entire photo studio — with just her phone and a tabletop device. It’s helped her respond faster to customer inquiries, streamline inventory updates, and present each piece in its best light.

“Invest in one of these,” she said. “Everything else is so bulky. It is.”

With over 26 years at the iconic Farmer’s Market at The Grove, Weiss Jewelry LA now blends old-world craftsmanship with modern tools — making luxury more accessible, from first glance to final purchase.

“You can find us on Instagram at Weiss Jewelry — W-E-I-S-S and ‘jewelry,’” Sarah added. “But in person, you can find us at our store that we've been in for over 26 years at the original Farmer’s Market at The Grove. We would love to see you.”

The Challenge

Saki Gioielli has been building its presence in the fashion and affordable jewelry market for 12 years, with an ambition to place its designs in jewelry stores across Italy.

As the brand works to grow its distribution and visibility, presenting products in the most compelling way possible has become a business priority.

The brand specializes in reimagined classic designs, including bracelets set with zirconia stones, where the brilliance and detail of the stones are central to the product's appeal.

Capturing that visual quality in a way that does justice to the craftsmanship, and that can support broader marketing and retail placement efforts, presented a real challenge.

During an in-store demonstration, Salvatore had the opportunity to see GemLightbox Pro in action and evaluate what it could mean for the brand's promotional efforts.

GemLightbox’s Role

After seeing GemLightbox Pro demonstrated, Salvatore was struck by how clearly and effectively it captured the character of his jewelry designs.

"I think it is a very nice set of things, " he said. "You can see the product very well."

What stood out most was the system's ability to reveal the detail and sparkle that define Saki Gioielli's zirconia pieces. As Salvatore described it, GemLightbox Pro "really highlights a characteristic of the bracelet in all its facets."

For a brand focused on getting its designs seen and appreciated across the retail market, the ability to present jewelry with that level of clarity and visual impact represents a meaningful step forward in their marketing and distribution efforts.

The Results

• GemLightbox Pro captured the full brilliance and faceting of zirconia designs clearly and accurately.

• Product details that define Saki Gioielli's designs, such as stone setting and sparkle, were visibly enhanced in the demonstration.

• The system offered a straightforward way to create high-quality visuals to support retail placement and promotional outreach.

• The combination of high-definition imaging and AI-assisted technology impressed as a complete, integrated solution.

GemLightbox Pro gave Saki Gioielli a new way to show the world what makes their jewelry worth noticing.

The Challenge

As a jewelry photographer, Elena knows firsthand how much lighting and detail matter when shooting pieces up close. Using a phone alone — without any additional lens — the results were consistently falling short. Images came out dark, flat, and missing the fine detail that makes jewelry worth photographing in the first place.

For someone who works with jewelry professionally, that gap between what a piece looks like in person and what a standard phone captures is not a minor inconvenience — it's the whole problem.

GemIQ’s Role

Trying GemSparkle for the first time at the Hong Kong show, the difference was immediate. Holding her own ring up to the lens, Elena could see the detail and brilliance that her phone alone had never been able to capture.

"With the lens — much better. Much better."

The Results

Immediate visible improvement in detail and brightness compared to a phone alone

Ring detail captured clearly on the first attempt at the demo

A first-time experience that left a strong impression on a working jewelry photographer

Sometimes the best product feedback comes from someone who knows exactly what good jewelry photography looks like — and can spot the difference in seconds.

Aurora's team had been spending three days on every new product shoot. After switching to PicUp Media, the same workflow takes under fifteen minutes per SKU. Every necklace, ring, and bracelet now ships with a 360° spin and macro close-ups out of the box.

The result: product pages convert at more than twice the rate they did six months ago, return rates dropped by a third, and the team can release new collections weekly instead of quarterly.

The Challenge

Sudanshu deals in natural diamonds — different shapes, different colors, all natural. For a business where the precise color and clarity of each stone is the product, the way a diamond photographs matters enormously.

Before GemLightbox Macro, the workflow relied entirely on a smartphone. The results were inconsistent and the biggest issue wasn't even the shot itself — it was what happened after.

"Sometimes it's hazy when you post on social media or send on WhatsApp — the quality gets compressed. It's not clear. That's the biggest issue."

When clients are making decisions about high-value diamonds based on images sent over WhatsApp, compressed and hazy photos aren't just inconvenient — they're bad for business.

GemiQ’s Role

GemLightbox Macro addressed the problem directly. The two features that stood out most for Sudanshu were the 360° view and the image clarity — and critically, the fact that quality is preserved exactly as captured.

"Whatever I'm taking — picture or video — it comes as it is. It doesn't get compressed. So what I'm sending to my clients, they see the actual view and actual clarity. That's the main part."

For a dealer where accurate stone representation drives purchasing decisions, that level of image integrity isn't optional.

The Results

Compressed, hazy smartphone images replaced with sharp, uncompressed files

360° video giving clients a complete view of each stone

True color and clarity of each diamond accurately represented in every shot

Client communications upgraded — what they see is exactly what the stone looks like

A photography solution built for the precision that high-value diamond dealing demands

For Sudanshu, GemLightbox Macro solved the one problem that mattered most — making sure clients see the real diamond, not a compressed version of it.

The Challenge

As a long-time jeweler and early adopter of GemLightbox, Adam from Union Street Jewelers has had a front-row seat to the evolution of jewelry photography — and the challenges that come with scaling digital presentation in a modern retail environment.

From the start, Adam knew how important visuals were to building customer trust and showcasing craftsmanship. But keeping up with evolving technology, and getting consistently professional images that worked across platforms — from online listings to social media and appraisals — was easier said than done.

“Focusing on both the close-in aspect of the ring and the far-end aspect while maintaining that resolution — that’s been one thing we’ve struggled with,” Adam shared.

Still, Adam saw potential in the earliest version of GemLightbox — and over the years, that trust has only grown.

“Honestly, I have to say you guys have come such a long way,” he said. “I’ve been with you since the very beginning when you first came out with your first box, and since then, I’ve seen nothing but improvement — with both the AI and the equipment.”

GemLightbox’s Role

For Adam, GemLightbox has evolved from a helpful tool into a daily essential — one that touches nearly every part of the business, from inventory management to marketing to customer service.

“Now we get to continue perfecting our photography, our products, listing our product online — everything just became so much easier,” he said. “With the AI itself, it’s made the process as simple and easy as possible that anybody can really do it.”

Even for team members without a tech background, the system has been intuitive. No learning curve, no complicated setup — just clean, clear images every time.

“Even if you’re not the most tech-savvy person, I find that even my colleagues and myself have no problem with it.”

With every update, GemLightbox continues to deliver more — smarter AI, better cameras, and tighter integration with the way Adam’s team works.

“Every single time I come back, I always see something new and better than last year,” he said. “Definitely excited to see what’s next for the lineup.”

The upgraded cameras are now helping Adam capture every detail in his inventory — a major boost for both sales and appraisals.

“When I’m doing appraisals, I get to capture every angle of the piece so they have every description they need. They don’t have to worry about untouched pieces or anything like that.”

And it’s not just about efficiency — it’s about presentation. On social media, product listings, and even internal documentation, the quality speaks for itself.

“Absolutely, we’ve used the GemLightbox in other areas like social media too,” Adam added. “Now we get to focus on high-quality visuals that we can just get done on the phone. The convenience is there for us — it makes it easier for both us and our customers.”

The Results

GemLightbox has become a cornerstone of Union Street Jewelers' digital workflow, helping Adam and his team work faster, smarter, and with greater visual impact.

“It’s honestly just made the process a lot easier,” he said. “Not to mention, the AI really polishes up those loose ends. It’s been an easy process for us working with you guys.”

What started as an early investment has grown into a long-term partnership — built on trust, continuous innovation, and real results.

“You guys have been really great with communication and really getting that feedback from us,” Adam shared. “I can say for certain — you’ve listened to your customers and really made a difference with us.”

The Challenge

For Prernaa Makhariaa, known as India’s first jewelry influencer and a trusted personal jewelry shopper, visual storytelling isn’t just a tool — it’s her brand.

Whether showcasing rare gemstones or helping clients discover their perfect piece, Prernaa relies on clear, captivating content that brings jewelry to life on screen. But capturing sparkle and detail with precision was a consistent challenge — until she discovered GemSparkle.

“I have been using the GemSparkle for the past few days, and I must say that it is a complete game changer when you need to film jewelry, gemstones, or diamonds,” she shared.

As someone who films regularly for her audience, Prernaa needed a lighting solution that would not only highlight the brilliance of a piece but also adapt to different stones and settings — fast, easy, and camera-ready.

GemSparkle’s Role

With GemSparkle, Prernaa gained full control over her content creation process — all from her existing setup. The specialized lighting solution allowed her to film stunning, true-to-life jewelry visuals that stand out online and convert viewers into clients.

“Let me show you a quick way of what you can expect when you get a GemSparkle,” she said in a demo. “So I have my GemSparkle connected — this is the opal ring that I’m wearing, and since it’s a gemstone, I will be putting the light to a warmer light.”

With just a few adjustments, she was able to switch into static mode and showcase the piece with clarity and vibrance — no editing, no reshoots.

“Let’s get into a static mode and I’ll show you how wonderful it is.”

GemSparkle gave her the power to control lighting temperature, reduce glare, and enhance the natural color of every gem — all while shooting directly from her phone.

The Results

The result? Elevated content, better client engagement, and a faster way to turn product showcases into sales.

“And I must say that it is a complete game changer,” Prernaa  repeated. “So invest in the GemSparkle because it’s only gonna help you bring in more clients.”

For influencers and retailers alike, GemSparkle isn’t just a tool — it’s a content essential. And for Prernaa, it’s now a trusted part of her personal brand toolkit, helping her deliver the sparkle her followers expect — every single time.

The Challenge

As the owner of Weiss Jewelry LA, Joelle takes pride in offering elegant, handcrafted pieces in one of Los Angeles' most iconic shopping destinations — The Grove’s historic Farmer’s Market. But behind the glamour of her storefront was a technical struggle: creating consistent, high-quality visuals for her online store.

“Before I started the GemLightbox, I was having a hard time manipulating lighting to correctly showcase my pieces,” Joelle shared. “I was having a hard time getting a stable camera that was going to create efficient videos that are the same throughout for my website.”

Product photos and videos lacked consistency, slowing down her entire content process. The challenge wasn’t just about aesthetics — it was about workflow. With a growing online presence and a new website underway, Joelle needed a faster, more professional solution.

GemIQ's Role

That solution came with the GemLightbox.

Designed for jewelers who want professional results without professional photographers, GemLightbox transformed how Joelle captured and presented her products.

“The GemLightbox has definitely saved my efficiency. I probably do everything two times quicker,” she said. “And inputting things into my website with help of the AI-generated text for the pieces has been very helpful. I’ve definitely had fully 3x productivity.”

Beyond the stunning visuals, Joelle’s favorite feature is one that takes care of the backend too — AI-generated product descriptions. As her team builds out a brand-new ecommerce platform, these intelligent tools are proving invaluable.

“Definitely, my favorite feature is the AI generation,” she said. “We’re currently building our new website because we’re switching platforms, and it is really helpful to get that description in there. It’s very accurate. We’re loving it.”

The Results

Since adopting GemLightbox, Joelle has doubled her content creation speed and tripled overall productivity — allowing her to keep pace with both customer demand and digital expansion.

No more fighting with lighting. No more reshooting videos. No more slow uploads to her site.

Now, every piece is photographed quickly, professionally, and with detailed AI descriptions ready to go — making Weiss Jewelry LA’s online experience as polished as its in-store charm.

“The GemLightbox has definitely saved my efficiency,” she said. “We’re loving it.”

You can see Joelle’s work at WeissJewelry-LA.com or visit her in person at The Grove Farmer’s Market entrance. For a daily dose of sparkle, follow along at @WeissJewelry on Instagram.

The Challenge

For William of Bryan Costa Minerals, professional-quality photography had long been a barrier to growth. Capturing mineral specimens in a way that reflected their brilliance and detail was time-consuming, technical, and often inconsistent. In a competitive space where images drive customer engagement, William needed a tool that would simplify his workflow and help his business expand without added complexity.

GemLightbox’s Role

William adopted GemLightbox as soon as it became available, and it quickly became an integral part of his operations.

“They are a wonderful product. I’ve been using them for years now, pretty much as soon as they’ve come out. They have made my business much easier and much more simple to actually not only progress and grow, but also to be able to photograph things.”

At the Tucson Gem Show, William also picked up three GemSparkles. He was impressed with the potential to capture high-quality visuals directly on his phone, making photography even more accessible.

“With the GemSparkle, I’m sure that will continue to be true, if not more so,” he said. “Being able to do more things just out and about on my phone—or on anyone else’s phone for that matter—would just be so simple. Whether using their app or even just using your own camera, it’s fantastic. I honestly can’t wait to use it.”

The Results

For Bryan Costa Minerals, GemLightbox and GemSparkle mean more than just convenience—they represent scalability, efficiency, and future growth.

• Simplified Workflow: Faster, easier photography with less technical setup.

• Business Growth: Tools that allow William to focus on expanding rather than troubleshooting.

• Mobile Flexibility: The ability to capture and share visuals anywhere, directly from a phone.

William sees even greater potential as the technology continues to evolve:

“With the computer application and the iPhone application, there are differences, but hopefully they’ll continue to merge into essentially one simple application on both ends.”

GemLightbox and GemSparkle give William the confidence that as his business grows, his photography will keep pace—simple, professional, and effective.

The Challenge

For Yarnal Jewelers, professionalism and customer trust are everything. But in an industry where visual presentation is critical, their existing photography methods weren’t keeping up with the expectations of today’s digital-first customers.

“As jewelers, we want the world to see us at our best,” said Angie. “When I look at the GemLightbox screen, I see that we look professional - ready for the world to see and enjoy.”

Without modern tools, showing products online meant inconsistent images, unclear detail, and missed opportunities for customers to engage. In a rapidly changing jewelry industry, Yarnal Jewelers needed a way to level up their digital presentation to match the quality of their craft.

GemiQ’s Role

That’s where GemIQ came in. Angie and Sherry discovered it at the Tucson Gem Show and quickly integrated it into their daily workflow.

“This product is amazing,” they said. “It pulled us into a more professional atmosphere that to the public makes us look like who we are—real jewelers.”

With GemLightbox, Yarnal Jewelers could capture sharp, crystal-clear photos and videos that highlighted every detail. The results not only impressed them but also reshaped how clients interacted with their brand:

“They can press a button, read the inscription of the item, press another button, purchase the item—and we will send it to them. It’s that easy.”

Beyond the product itself, GemLightbox’s support stood out. “They’re so easy. They will troubleshoot any problem you have. I can speak volumes about this—I could make a library about this.”

The Results

For Yarnal Jewelers, GemLightbox became more than just a photography tool—it was a business growth engine.

Professionalism Elevated: Customers now see Yarnal Jewelers as modern, polished, and trustworthy.

Ease of Use: Both staff and clients benefit from a simple, intuitive system that makes shopping and selling seamless.

Future-Proofing: By adopting GemLightbox, Yarnal Jewelers positioned themselves ahead of industry shifts.

“I don’t know what anyone’s doing, that's running a jewelry store and not using this product,” said Sherry.

Her advice for other jewelers was clear:

“Stay on top of things—or you’ll be left in the dust like Kodak and Blockbuster.”

GemLightbox has given Yarnal Jewelers the confidence, tools, and efficiency to keep pace with a rapidly evolving industry—while elevating their brand for the digital age.

The Challenge

For Etienne, a master jeweler and independent designer with over 50 years of experience, creating exceptional jewelry has always been second nature. He began crafting his own collections straight out of high school — and never looked back.

“I’m an independent jeweler that’s been a designer for 50 years,” Etienne shared. “I make my own collection of jewelry.”

While his artistry has only deepened with time, the same couldn’t be said for his photography process. Using a traditional digital camera and light box setup, Etienne would spend hours editing each image manually in Photoshop — all in the pursuit of accuracy.

“I have a digital camera and a light box. Then I spend a lot of time afterwards in Photoshop making the picture right,” he said. “It’s amazing compared to the film cameras I used to use.”

Still, the process was slow and cumbersome — far from the seamless experience he wanted for modern digital marketing.

GemIQ’s Role

That’s when Etienne decided to take a leap.

“My thoughts? It’s worth the risk that it might work,” he said. “The positive is big enough that I’m willing to take a chance on $6,000. I would say — unbelievable. And yet I spent the money.”

With GemLightbox, the days of tedious post-production were over. The all-in-one photography system streamlined his entire process — delivering professional-grade images without the time sink.

Etienne immediately recognized how this would shift the way he markets his work.

“It’ll make my digital marketing a lot easier,” he shared. “It’ll change it — revolutionizing.”

The setup, the lighting, and the instant capture technology offered him exactly what he needed: speed, quality, and consistency, without the learning curve or editing backlog.

The Results

For Etienne, GemLightbox isn’t just a new tool — it’s a turning point.

After decades spent refining every detail of his designs, he now has a system that honors that craftsmanship visually — while freeing up his time to focus on what he does best.

From manual Photoshop sessions to instant clarity in a click, the shift has been game-changing.

“It’s worth the risk that it might work,” he said. “And yet I spent the money.”

Now, he’s not looking back — only forward, with more time, more ease, and more opportunities to showcase his artistry to the world.

The Challenge

For Diego Treviño, founder of Eternity Diamond Business in Mexico, product presentation is everything. When you're selling premium diamonds and fine gold jewelry, your visuals need to capture clarity, color, and brilliance — consistently.

But finding the right setup was harder than expected.

“Before the GemLightBox came to our business, we tried to find the best light box and we purchased from five different styles and sizes — and none of them worked fine,” Diego explained.

Each alternative promised quality, but failed to deliver on ease, lighting control, or professional results. Until GemLightBox.

GemIQ’s Role

Once Diego brought the GemLightBox into his business, everything changed.

“Currently, I have the GemLightBox and it’s a game changer for our business,” he said. “We are looking forward to all the new features that it will bring for us.”

Unlike previous setups, GemLightBox uses a unique mirrored interior that evenly distributes light and enhances reflection — giving Diego’s diamond and gold pieces the definition and realism they deserve.

And the innovation didn’t stop there. With AI retouching, color changing tools for metals and stones, and upcoming modeling features, Diego’s workflow is becoming faster, smarter, and more scalable.

“We’re also looking for the color change — the diamond, the gold change in the products in the pictures — the modeling feature, the AI retouching,” he said. “All the features are amazing and we just keep getting more of them.”

He’s also keeping a close eye on the new camera release.

“That new camera looks amazing and it will speed up our editing and our picture process, for sure.”

The Results

GemLightBox didn’t just solve Diego’s lighting problem — it helped unlock a full content creation system tailored to high-end jewelry.

Instead of wasting time with incompatible light boxes, his team now enjoys professional results, smarter tools, and a streamlined editing process — all in one compact, scalable setup.

“I do recommend this product for sure,” he said. “And I just keep waiting for more.”

After trying five other solutions, Diego finally found the one that worked — and continues to evolve with his business.

For Eternity Diamond Business, GemLightBox wasn’t just a better tool — it was the breakthrough they’d been waiting for.
